CRIM 498 - Capstone in Criminology and Criminal Justice 3 Credit(s)
This seminar is meant to be taken as a final course in criminology and criminal justice. The course will focus on connecting criminological theories, policy implications, and practice in the criminal justice field. Additionally, students will cultivate professional development skills.
Prerequisite(s): CRIM 101 , CRIM 102 and senior standing.

- Demonstrate critical thinking in reference to the creation, implementation, and evaluation of criminal justice policies.
- Display familiarity and understanding of criminal justice policy and evaluation, information, and techniques.
- Identify and discuss the ethical implications of various criminal justice policies.
- Evaluate a current criminal justice policy.
