BIOL 302 - Plant Taxonomy

A study of the identification, naming and classification of vascular plants. Covers the features used for identification using manuals, keys, plant collections, and herbaria. Students practice proper collection, preparation, mounting, and digitization of herbarium specimens. Lab portion of the course is co-taught with BIOL 202 Field Botany.
