The study of friendships, attraction, sexuality, and adult intimate relationships is covered by this course. Topics will include major theoretical approaches to studying relationships, relationships across the lifespan, communication and conflict, sexual assault and violence, and research on how to maintain a happy and health long-term commitment to a life partner.

Prerequisite(s): One 200 level sociology course or one 200 level psychology course, or permission from instructor.
