PSYC 440 - Cognition 3 Credit(s)
This course studies human cognitive processes including memory, perception, reasoning, and language. Students will be introduced to the basic theories and phenomena of the field through a variety of hands-on activities, including laboratory experiments, computer simulations, and classroom exercises.
Prerequisite(s): PSYC 100 and one 200-level psychology course.
Course Frequency: AN
Grading Method: Student option.

- Describe the information processing approach.
- Describe key elements of basic cognitive functions.
- Generate conclusions about cognitive psychology experiments.
