This course will look at the history of psychopathology, the major psychiatric syndromes, and the differing theoretical perspectives and approaches to treatment and therapy.

Prerequisite(s): PSYC 100 .

  2. Identify ethical and legal issues related to abnormal psychology.
  3. Describe biological, psychological, and sociocultural factors affecting mental health.
