PSPA 485 - Special Topics in Public Administration

Designed to address topics not fully treated in other BVU courses, this course is offered periodically, depending on student demand. Possible topics include bureaucratic politics, public sector labor and employment law, advanced research methods, program planning, and program evaluation. Other subjects may be addressed depending on student interest.

Prerequisite(s): PSCN 110  and PSPA 165 .

Students may repeat course as new topics are offered.
Course Frequency: AN

Grading Method: Student option.

Learning Outcomes:
  1. Students will demonstrate problem solving skills per the evaluation criteria idenitfied in BVU Signature Skill #1.
  2. Students will demonstrate capacities for integrative learning per the evaluation criteria identified in BVU Signature Skill #2.
  3. Students will demonstrate capacities for effective communication per the evaluation criteria in BVU Signature Skill #3.
