EXSC 460 - Physiological Principles of Conditioning 3 Credit(s)
A look into the fundamental principles of conditioning and their application to specific skills or sports. The course will introduce scientific principles in order to apply evidence-based principles to individual personal training plans and team exercise programs with an emphasis on training of the body’s energy systems.
Prerequisite(s): BIOL 380 or EXSC 352 or permission from instructor.

- Test individuals with sport-specific assessments.
- Formulate a safe and effective strength training and conditioning program.
- Use exercise prescription principles for training variation, injury prevention, and reconditioning.
