ESSI 635 - The Special Education Consultant 3 Credit(s)
This course focuses on the interpersonal relations, interaction patterns, interpersonal influence, and communication skills necessary to be a consultant in special and regular education. As part of this consulting process, students will examine, analyze, and apply a methodological model for consulting with teachers and other adults involved in the educational programming. In this class, students will develop the skills required for conducting a needs assessment, delivering staff in-service needs, and evaluating in-service sessions.
Grading Method: Letter grade.
