ESSI 307 - Methods for Teaching Students with Behavioral Disabilities with Field Experience

Pre-service teachers will develop effective instructional strategies for meeting the needs of learners with significant support needs related to learning and behavior disorders in inclusive and self-contained settings in order to promote increased independence and academic and social proficiency with a focus on individual needs in home, school, and community settings with a focus on life-long needs. This course includes a 10-hour field experience.

Prerequisite(s): Must have passed Teacher Education Program Checkpoint II.
