ESL 064 - Introduction to American Culture

This is a content-based course covering various aspects of American culture, such as famous people and places, important historical events, and traditions. The linguistic component of the course focuses on vocabulary and reading skills. The course will culminate with individual oral presentations or exhibits focusing on specific aspects of American culture. This is an elective course.

Prerequisite(s): Permission of ESOL director.

Course Frequency: AN

Notes: ESL courses do not apply toward graduation.
