ENGL 305 - Writing for Work 3 Credit(s)
An intensive course designed to enhance students’ skills in all aspects of workplace writing. Emphasis will be placed on argument, tone and audience, as well as technical matters such as formatting, style and grammar. A variety of workplace genres such as memoranda, business letters, reports, and e-mail correspondence will be included. Particular attention will be paid to strategies for effective electronic communication.
Prerequisite(s): ENGL 101 or ENGL 102 or equivalent.
