MATH 074 - Introductory Mathematics with Lab

This course covers basic mathematics topics such as arithmetic of fractions, decimals, and signed numbers; percents, ratios, and proportions; basic rules and techniques for manipulation of algebraic symbols and expressions (including exponents and radicals); and solution methods, graphs, and applications of linear equations. Four lecture hours and one recitation hour. Enrollment by university placement.

- Solve equations and inequalities with multiple variables.
- Manipulate polynomials.
- Apply multiple strategies to factor polynomial expressions.
- Utilize arithmetic, algebraic, and factoring methods to solve rational expressions and equations.
