This course compares anatomy and physiology of the male and female reproductive systems of livestock, with focus on endocrinology of reproduction, gestation and parturition.

Learning Outcomes:
- Understand the basic concepts of reproduction and terminology.
- Describe the anatomy and physiology in food producing ruminants as well as non-ruminant animals.
- Be knowledgeable regarding the synchronization protocols of various food producing animals.
- Identify the different organs of the reproductive tract in omnivores and herbivores that are involved in reproduction and breeding.
