STPR 330 - Applied Strategic Communication 3 Credit(s)
This course will focus on strategic communication in relationship to public relations, advertising, marketing, publicity, promotions, social media and current interactive communication practices. It is important to understand the practical application of creating and managing tactics, platforms, media formats, and activities that communicate persuasive messaging to defined publics or target audiences through the strategic process.
Prerequisite(s): STPR 230 or permission of the instructor.

- Organize media processes using different platforms.
- Manage content of media messages using paid, owned and earned media.
- Define the key steps of the strategic process to create effective messages.
