SOCI 101 - Introduction to Sociology 3 Credit(s)
A survey of sociological concepts and their implication to the study of everyday life. The goal of the course is to introduce a new perspective - the sociological perspective - in order to develop a new way to view, understand, and explain the wocial world in which we all live.

- Identify and discuss basic sociological concepts, theories, and perspectives.
- Recognize that individual decisions are strongly influenced by the social world.
- Analyze various social institutions using the three main sociological perspectives.
