DIGI 410 - Media Project 3 Credit(s)
A capstone experience that aims to synthesize both practical and theoretical learning in the major and prepare students for professional work or further study in the rapidly changing media landscape. Media Project explores personal and professional development, personal branding, media portfolio, and challenges students to research and successfully pitch a major capstone project both in written and oral form.
Prerequisite(s): Senior standing or permission of the instructor.

Grading Method: Student option.
Learning Outcomes:
- Articulate professional goals (this will partly be evident in completion of working resume, active/live e-portfolio, and mock interview experience).
- Articulate the value of digital storytelling to specific audiences.
- Critically analyze their own and others’ project pitch ideas.
- Recognize the differences between legal and ethical concerns with respect to the production of original work.
- Demonstrate growth in public presentation skills.
