BIOL 210 - Zoology

A study of representatives of the animal kingdom, their structure, life processes, distribution, development, adaptation, and classification. Three lecture hours plus two hours of laboratory per week.

Prerequisite(s): BIOL 163  and BIOL 164  or permission from instructor.

Learning Outcomes:
  1. Explain the key traits of major taxonomic groups.
  2. Compare the key functioning of organ systems across groups.
  3. Integrate science and art to create detailed sketches of animals, capturing important and biologically relevant information.
