This course introduces students to the fundamental components, practices, and production systems of animal husbandry, with a general study of genetics, nutrition, health, behavior, gastrointestinal and reproductive anatomy and physiology.

- Evaluate the practices of animal husbandry and management processes for common agricultural animals used in successful animal production systems.
